The Story
"Ready to Shine" captures the delicate duality of our most human moments — the places where vulnerability meets resilience. Using the expressive form of the Cockatoo, I wanted to explore how we compose ourselves through life’s shifts.
While this piece emerged from a personal journey through the weight of separation, its heart is centered on the love and gratitude that remain. Emotions layered, softly revealed.
A dance of fear, of joy, of grace,
The mirrored depths of life's embrace.
The world unfolds in gentle hue,
A compact space, yet boundless too.
With golden sparks and flowers near,
